Asko Keränen holds a Licentiate of Laws from the University of Lapland (1986) and a Master of Laws with court training, granted in 1987 after court training at the Raahe City Court, Finland. He was a partner at a Raahe legal firm between 1987 and 1989, after which he set up his own legal office.
His career has included thousands of cases, most of which have been criminal trials. Asko Keränen serves clients in Finnish, Swedish and English. Contact Asko Keränen when you need an experienced lawyer.
Asko Keränen has been increasingly interested in legal sciences throughout his career. In 2014, he earned a Licentiate of Laws degree with a dissertation entitled Pre-trial Investigation in Law and in Practice. In autumn 2021 he received the right to pursue a dissertation at the University of Eastern Finland under the title of Supervision of Attorneys in Finland. Completing the dissertation consists of information collection, information analysis, and problem solving. Solving a legal problem boils down to precisely the same factors: collecting and analysing information. In Asko Keränen’s opinion, the right solution for every legal problem can only be found by understanding the problem and applying legal expertise.
